An ardent believer in the power of storytelling, Vikram’s strengths lie in visual story telling. He thrives on narratives that delve into the crux of genuineness and simplicity of human emotions in order to get the point across. He has been living in Canada and has been working in Film and TV for over 18 years - including having worked for Indian musical genius AR Rahman of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ fame on multiple occasions.  

His most recent medium format narrative, the multi award winning ‘Calcutta Taxi’, funded by CTV’s Bravofact and National Film Board of Canada, was in consideration for the Academy Awards 2014 in the Short Narrative Drama Category. In 2017 Vikram was asked to work as Creative Director on the James Cameron documentary ‘Search for Atlantis’ produced by Simcha Jacobovici for Nat Geo.

Vikram is working on his second feature documentary, ‘Dog-Ma’ (currently in production) about his own mother that everyday feeds 500+ stray dogs in the streets of Delhi, India while writing his first narrative feature film, ‘Ladakh’ set on the Himalayas.
