Rich Millard began filmmaking at a young age, shooting stop-motion Lego videos and directing his younger brothers in high-flying Kung Fu movies shot with a VHS Camcorder. These early films were priceless artifacts but were tragically taped over to record reruns of JAG. Undeterred by the loss of his reel, Rich followed the traditional filmmaker’s journey to study Aerospace Engineering in college while continuing to make short films with his friends. 

After finishing his degree, armed with the secrets of space flight, Rich moved to Los Angeles in 2006 and launched his career in the film business, focusing on creating commercials that entertain and delight viewers. He approaches his work with passion, humor, and optimism while striving to bring out the best in his actors and collaborators. Rich is grateful to make-believe for a living, and his dad vows that he will never tape over his work again unless JAG returns to the small screen.
